Possessed by demons, people have begun to burst into flame, leading to the establishment of a special firefighting team: the Fire Force, ready to roll on a moment's notice to fight spontaneous combustion anywhere it might break out. But the team is about to get a very unique addition: Shinra, a boy who possesses the unique power to run at the speed of a rocket, leaving behind the famous 'devil's footprints' (and destroying his shoes in the process).

Fire Force is a manga series by Atsushi Ohkubo. The Great Cataclysm is an event that happened two hundred and fifty years ago. During it, the world was set on fire, with very few habitable areas left in the aftermath.
Manga are graphic novels originating from Japan. The term is used in Japan to refer to both comics and cartooning. Outside of Japan, the word is typically used to refer to comics originally published in the country.
